Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Employer: Dhanuka Agritech Ltd.

He/ She will evaluate the financial aspects of product development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections for the respective zone.

He/ She will execute pricing strategies, balancing Dhanuka objectives and increasing customer satisfaction and develop the marketing team in the zone and update their knowledge base to cater to the organizational need.

He/ She will implement marketing strategy for Dhanuka products, based on knowledge of market characteristics, and cost and mark-up factors and recommend training as required for team member development.

He/ She will coordinate and execute marketing activities and policies to promote products and services, after discussion with advertising and promotion managers.

He/ She will review and monitor performance of team members on an ongoing basis and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs.

He/ She will discuss contracts with vendors and distributors for managing product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies and conduct economic and commercial surveys to identify potential markets for products and services and report to the zonal marketing manager.

He/ She will conduct market research studies and analyse their findings.

He/ She will work with product development personnel on product specifications such as design and packaging.

He/ She will confer with legal staff to resolve problems, such as copyright infringement and royalty sharing with outside producers and distributors.

He/ She will use sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services and analysing business developments and monitoring market trends and work towards customer satisfaction through timely resolution of customer complaints within defined TATs.

He/ She will monitor monthly deviations from the plans and assist the Zonal Marketing Manager to formulate the strategies for rectifying the deviations.

He/ She will coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, and production managers to market products and services ad drive channel development by recommending potential dealerships to the Zonal Marketing Manager.

He/ She will work towards buying dealer engagement and trust through timely resolution of issues.

Candidate should have Completed B.Sc. in Agriculture/M.Sc. in Agriculture /MBA in Agribusiness. Candidate should have 4-10 years of Experience in Agro Chemicals Industry.
